Our History

In December of 1991 a group of individuals from two small fellowships met together for the first time. The following January each of the fellowships met and voted to merge with the other in order to form a new congregation. On January 27, 1992 the very first service of The Church @ War Hill was held. Pastor Don Allen ministered in the first service on the topic of Building a Ship That Would Last. Pastor Don and his father, Pastor C. Rodney Allen, have worked together since that first service to provide leadership and direction for the vision of War Hill.

Since its inception War Hill has grown to have ministries that reach deep into this community and also outreaches which share the love of Christ around the world.
